We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Indiana University Health. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pharmacy and its staff, providing comprehensive medication-related care, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve patient drug therapy outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy and its staff
- Provide comprehensive medication-related care for patients
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve patient drug therapy outcomes
- Assist the pharmacy director with preparing and performing activities involving the pharmacy and therapeutics committee
- Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
- Assist in new process implementation and quality improvement initiatives
- Manage inventory and oversee the financial performance of the pharmacy
- Current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacist
- PharmD or BS degree in Pharmacy
- At least 5 years of experience as a pharmacist, with 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics
