Job SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Medical Scribe Specialists. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with physicians to accurately record and document patient encounters in real-time. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare industry and develop your skills in clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany physicians to accurately record and document patient visits and procedures.
- Create and review medical charts for accuracy and completion in accordance with practice guidelines.
- Assist in completing charts by transcribing results of patient and doctor consultations.
- Record diagnosis, discharge, prescriptions, and/or follow-up instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by practice manager or physician.
- Passion for healthcare and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Highly motivated and experience-driven individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM with high accuracy.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
