The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. A graduate degree in speech therapy (MS or MA SLP) and ASHA certification are required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email. Knowledge of practices and procedures governing post-acute care facilities is essential, and the ability to implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures is crucial.

As a valued member of the team, the SLP will participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information. Adherence to company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures, is expected, as is integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

This position requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to oversee and evaluate care given by SLP CFYs. Utilizing therapy software accurately and efficiently is also a key responsibility.
