About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented House Attendant to join our team at Courtyard Reno Downtown/Riverfront. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our public areas, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including floors, carpets, and furniture, to hotel standards.
  • Shampoo carpets and furniture as needed to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Ensure public restrooms are clean and well-maintained throughout the shift.
  • Provide luggage assistance to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, fellow associates, and self.
  • Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards.
  • Turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at the end of the shift.
  • Complete daily assignment checklists and submit to supervisor at the end of the day.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable State and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record).
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
