Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Physician to join our team at Continuum Medical Staffing. As a seasoned Hospitalist, you will lead a group of physicians and mid-level providers, overseeing clinical work and administrative duties.

Salary

The compensation package includes a competitive base salary of $1,474 per shift, with a minimum of 140 shifts required for full-time status. Additionally, you can expect a signing bonus of $25,000 and relocation assistance of $15,000.

Job Description

As the Lead Hospitalist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of physicians and mid-level providers in clinical work and administrative tasks
  • Developing and implementing policies to improve patient safety, outcomes, throughput, and utilization
  • Collaborating with other physician leaders and hospital staff to achieve high-quality standards
  • Maintaining medical staff membership and privileges

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school and completion of an Internal Medicine residency program
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a Hospitalist and administrative experience
