Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC/Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our commercial HVAC projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the installation of HVAC systems on commercial construction projects, including duct work, roof top units, and VAV boxes.
- Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring efficient and safe project execution.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client expectations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC project leadership.
- Journeyman or Master card a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore experience a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
- $25 - $35/hr. based on experience and skill set.
