Your contributions to the team:
- Design and develop plans and drawings, which may encompass the creation of preliminary layouts and/or final drawings.

- Organize and conduct engineering investigations and planning tasks with a clearly defined scope, producing reports under the guidance of a more experienced professional.

- Provide engineering support during construction activities by reviewing shop drawings for compliance with specifications, preparing records and progress reports, and observing construction procedures while evaluating results from quality control testing under supervision.

- Research the feasibility of alternative design strategies, site conditions, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Assist in the development of specifications and permit applications.
- Prepare preliminary cost estimates.

- Participate in quality control checks, ensuring high standards in all produced work, verifying computations, and reviewing designs and drawings completed by others.

- Collaborate with other disciplines as necessary.
- Conduct field observations of construction when appropriate.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What you will bring:
- A B.S. or M.S. in Engineering. This position is typically suited for engineers with 2 years of experience post-B.S. or 1 year post-M.S. The average candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience since obtaining their Bachelor's degree.
- Proficiency in technical writing, computer skills, and communication is essential. CAD skills are preferred.
- E.I.T certification is preferred.
