Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
  • Work with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide solutions to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex problems and ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certifications to ensure expertise in the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician / Mechanic
  • ASE Certifications/L1 preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
