Job Description:

At U.S. Engineering, we are revolutionizing the construction industry through innovative off-site manufacturing and specialty prefabrication services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and technical management of DfMA products to ensure accuracy, specification adherence, and overall constructability for activities on our shop floors, maintaining alignment with integration needs on-site of end users.
  • Offer technical assistance, interpretation of drawings, recommendation of construction methods, and Code and Spec Compliance review.
  • Engage with the virtual construction group upfront to ensure product design is both constructable and compliant, reviewing final Model and Submittal drawings for quality control issues.
  • Drive plan development with project teams to maximize DfMA processes and overall manufacturing product deployment.
  • Evaluate handling and mobility of products, considering both shop floor and end job site location constraints.
  • Build relationships with project teams (in-house and outside partners) providing leadership and guidance.
  • Assist in specific product PQAP development and manage the NCR/CAR process within that framework.
  • Participate in Production Audits, Schedule Development, and Quality Control.
  • Be a primary resource for evaluation and response on all Technical RFIs related to products.
  • Explore and identify improvement opportunities within production processes and drive continuous improvement through past results.
  • Support site installers for all technical-related product issues.
  • Participate in all planning efforts around product site delivery and laydown management.
  • Collaborate with site teams on production scheduling to meet onsite needs by dates.

Requirements:
  • A combination of mechanical field and/or shop experience in conjunction with leadership of teams is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is also considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mechanical construction industry.
  • Prior experience in roles assisting with project management or field leadership is preferred.
  • Ability to maximize project team performance through innovative and effective management techniques.
  • Experience with logic-based construction scheduling is a plus but not required.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, such as diplomacy and persuasion, are essential to develop and foster effective professional relationships.
  • Time management and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of computer programs like Procore, Navisworks, MS Word, and Excel is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-management skills are crucial.
  • Ability to navigate a construction site.
  • Ability to travel to multiple job sites across various states.
