Job Summary

La Scuola International School is seeking an experienced and passionate Part-Time Elementary School Teacher to join our team. As a Reggio Emilia inspired school, we are committed to providing a unique and engaging learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement curriculum goals and long-term projects within the IB-PYP guidelines.
  • Set educational and developmental goals for students, both as a group and individually.
  • Prepare the learning environment to support educational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a personal connection with each parent and child's family.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or Child Development Certificate, or 5+ years of experience working with children.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in K-8 grade level, preferably in a language immersion program and/or IB accredited school.
  • Experience working in a Reggio Emilia inspired school.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in English.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in Italian a plus.
  • Knowledge of Reggio Emilia approach.
  • Familiarity with IB-PYP Curriculum framework or inquiry/project-based approach.
