About the Role

This is a 50% hybrid schedule position that offers a unique blend of technical leadership and collaboration. As a Principal Digital Mission Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing thought leadership and expertise in digital systems engineering and mission engineering
  • Leading large multi-disciplinary teams in the development and implementation of digital models
  • Providing systems engineering expertise across lifecycle phases, including requirements analysis, architecture development, and risk assessment
  • Developing and championing new systems engineering capabilities and processes
  • Driving internal and external research opportunities in cutting-edge engineering fields

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or a relevant technical discipline, and 10+ years of related experience
  • An active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance within one year
  • Deep experience in architecture modeling and leading complex system and system-of-systems analysis efforts
  • Documented success working across organizational business units to deliver innovative solutions
  • Experience integrating models across modeling and simulation applications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of mentorship and leadership

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with advanced degrees in engineering or a relevant technical discipline, as well as experience in digital engineering and operational analysis processes and tools. If you have a strong background in research and development, and experience leading on detailed design, development, and deployment programs, we'd love to hear from you.
