In this position, you will be tasked with the coordination of scheduling and dispatching our Logistics field teams. Your role will be vital in ensuring that our designers and clients receive their installation crews and deliveries promptly and efficiently. Your exceptional organizational capabilities and effective communication skills will be crucial in managing delivery timelines, optimizing routes, and sustaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of installation and delivery teams to guarantee timely and efficient crew arrivals.
  • Enhance delivery routes to reduce travel time and boost productivity.
  • Engage with Logistics teams to provide necessary instructions, updates, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal or external customers regarding delivery schedules, tracking, and order updates in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain precise records of delivery schedules, routes, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure product availability for scheduled deliveries.
  • Monitor delivery progress and manage any delays or unexpected situations that may arise.
  • Utilize GPS tracking software systems and other tools to oversee and monitor delivery teams.
  • Comply with company policies and guidelines concerning scheduling, dispatching, and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a scheduler or dispatcher, preferably within the furniture or logistics sector.
  • Familiarity with relevant GPS tracking software systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

This role requires in-person attendance during standard working hours with occasional needs outside those hours.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges between $24.00-$26.00/hr, depending on experience.
