As a Therapist III, you will conduct needs assessments, diagnoses, and provide behavioral health counseling and therapy services in accordance with the client's Individual Service Plan (ISP) needs and related program priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs assessments and diagnoses for clients.
  • Write, revise, and advocate for ASAM reports with Managed Care Organizations to obtain treatment authorization.
  • Provide services in men's and women's residential treatment programs.
  • Meet productivity standards by providing direct client services (individual and group sessions).
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor clients' ISPs and report progress to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Hold a manageable caseload and make referrals to other services as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning for clients in need.
  • Supervise student interns and maintain treatment fidelity.
  • Support clients' families by strengthening communication skills and providing access to resources.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and mental health providers.
  • Attend meetings, supervision sessions, and in-service trainings.

Requirements
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English (required).
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related fields with 3-5 years of relevant experience (required).

  • First Aid and CPR certification (required).
  • Strong understanding of addiction and mental illness.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those involved in the criminal justice system.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and EMR software (Avatar).
