Reporting to the Head of Delivery, the Site Manager will be instrumental in overseeing and managing all on-site operations for our commercial construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget while upholding quality standards and complying with regulations. This role is client-facing and involves collaboration with franchise owners, trades, subcontractors, building officials, and other team members from Archmill House/Solutions. This position requires significant travel and on-site work based on project timelines. Projects typically last from one to two weeks, with meal and lodging expenses reimbursed according to our Travel Policy. Occasionally, 100% overnight work may be necessary based on client and project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Oversight: Manage daily operations at construction sites, ensuring compliance with plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other construction personnel, providing guidance to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor work progress and quality, conduct regular inspections, and address any issues to maintain high construction standards. Uphold the Reimage brand standards and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Safety Management: Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of project progress, including daily reports and work logs.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and prompt resolution of project-related issues.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and address challenges that may arise during construction, such as unexpected delays or technical issues, while keeping project timelines intact.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within commercial construction projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to effectively motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore).
  • Relevant certifications or licenses are advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
  • Must possess a valid passport (and Canadian visa if applicable).
