Cardiologist Physician

Job Summary:

The Society For Cardiovascular Angiography And Interventions is seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist Physician to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for managing patients on the inpatient coronary care unit, performing cardiology consultations, and participating in noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage patients on the inpatient coronary care unit
• See patients in outpatient specialty clinics
• Perform cardiology consultations
• Participate in noninvasive cardiac procedures
• Develop and implement cardiac-specific inpatient flow and management protocols
• Collaborate with other services to improve cardiology-specific metrics

Requirements:

• United States Citizenship
• Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree from an approved school
• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth
• Completed residency training in an accredited core specialty program
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Preferred Experience:

• Board eligible/Board certified general cardiologist
• Administrative experience and expertise in hospital-wide quality improvement projects
• Research experience and ability to attract grant funding

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with variable on-call duties.
