We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Equipment Operator to join our team at Baltimore Aircoil Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment to meet production standards.
- Read and understand shop orders, assembly installation instructions, and parts/equipment specifications.
- Ability to read and access paperwork, standard work, and reference drawings.
- Identify and communicate quality issues to the Station Leader.
- Flex to other stations as needed to meet production demands.
- Knowledge of the Premium Appearance standard and identify issues in each product.
- Understand basic Lean Principles of 8 Wastes and 5S program.
- Contribute new ideas and sustain these processes.
- Consistently demonstrate good performance in productivity, safety, and work habits.
- Basic knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office and PeopleSoft.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Team leader, Plant superintendent, or Plant manager.
- Good attendance and ability to work any shift as needed.
- Critical Thinking – Identify damaged parts/units and make effective repairs.
- Communication – Communicate with Station Leader, Material Coordinator, and fork lift drivers to ensure quality products.
- Customer Focus – Understand customers, previous and next stations, and finished goods customer.
- Aligning People and Team Development – Develop, motivate, and guide new temporary employees.
