Chemistry Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Supervisor to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc.

Job Summary:

The Chemistry Supervisor will be responsible for providing direct supervision to technologists, technicians, and laboratory assistants, and/or phlebotomists. This includes workload assignments, training, resolution of technical problems, staffing, scheduling, counseling, and other disciplinary measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of phlebotomy procedures, including specialized collections and processes, assuring rapid and accurate results.
  • Order supplies, maintain and review collection equipment and technology, and maintain workload statistical data.
  • Ensure appropriate communication with other shift supervisors to ensure expected levels of skill and technical expertise are available in all areas and on all shifts.

Requirements:

  • ASCP certification
  • Prior supervisory/leadership experience and chemistry knowledge
