About the Role:
Aureus Medical Group - Cardiopulmonary is seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist - Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel opportunity in Norfolk, Virginia.

Job Summary:
This 16-week assignment requires the successful candidate to work as a respiratory therapist in a 225-bed facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working with critically ill patients and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as a respiratory therapist in the intensive care unit (ICU) setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients requiring mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:
- Current licensure as a respiratory therapist in the state of Virginia.
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and CPR certifications required.

Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $2182.00-$2362.00 per week, equivalent to approximately $26.00-$31.00 per hour based on a 36-hour workweek.
- Tax-free stipend amount: $1246.00 subject to eligibility and seasonal/annual adjustments.
