Role Summary: We are in search of a Litigation Paralegal to enhance our team in the foreclosure litigation department. This position is crucial in providing essential support to our attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage attorney schedules, ensuring all court deadlines, meetings, hearings, and depositions are organized.
  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including motions, affidavits, notices, and correspondence for attorney evaluation.
  • Assist in formulating responses to discovery requests and managing document production.
  • Organize trial exhibits and prepare comprehensive trial binders.
  • Prepare both physical and electronic files for hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Engage in extensive communication with clients, judicial clerks, and opposing legal representatives.
  • Input and maintain case information within our case management system to uphold data accuracy.
  • Conduct general court research and monitor relevant court dockets.
  • Provide administrative assistance to attorneys as required.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • 3-4 years of experience in foreclosure litigation is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in document formatting using Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and independently handle a caseload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
