Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Leader to oversee insurance and risk mitigation strategies for our commodities trading operations. This role will be responsible for identifying and structuring appropriate risk mitigation products, leading the deal implementation process, and developing relationships with external institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate exposures associated with commodities trading, mining, and corporate functions.
  • Liaise with various internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Group policies and requirements.
  • Negotiate with brokers, underwriters, and other financial institutions to secure optimal risk management solutions.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to identify opportunities for risk mitigation and develop proposals for new business initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and regulatory developments to inform risk management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in insurance, commodities, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in risk management, with a strong understanding of commodities markets and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
