Position Title: Production Technician
We are in search of a proficient Production Technician with at least 3 years of experience in a production environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in assembling and evaluating products, interpreting technical drawings, and fulfilling various operational roles utilizing both general and specialized skills.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machinery and tools, including band saws, plasma cutters, and welders.
- Assemble and assess manufactured items.
- Conduct repairs and perform calibration tasks.
- Adhere to engineering specifications and schematics.
- Document testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with Engineering on prototype initiatives.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in assembly and product evaluation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in operating machinery and tools (e.g., welders, saws, drills).
- Competence in product repair and calibration.
- Skill in documenting test results.
- Familiarity with engineering designs and schematics.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Team collaboration.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
This is a permanent role.
Work EnvironmentThe starting pay rate is $20.50/hr, with a progression scale reaching up to $23.00 within 12 months, contingent upon satisfactory performance. Transitioning to the third shift will qualify you for a $1.50/hr shift differential.
