POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Bakery Plant Manager at Zippy's, the Production Mixer/Baker plays a crucial role in crafting cakes and pies tailored to daily orders, ensuring both quality and precision in accordance with established recipes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and assemble cakes and pies based on daily production requests
  • Ensure accurate tagging and labeling of all baked goods
  • Support other departments as needed
  • Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the workspace
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Availability: Must be flexible and open to various shifts
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting 25-50 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Cognitive Skills: Proficient in basic mathematics and possesses strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Pre-Employment Criteria: Must successfully complete physical and drug screenings
  • Work Environment: Comfortable in environments with fluctuating temperatures
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Previous experience in a bakery setting is advantageous
