Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant at CaroMont Health, you will play a vital role in providing patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Your primary responsibilities will include performing delegated activities in accordance with approved policies and guidelines, as well as contributing to ensuring that standards of care are met for our patients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members to promote effective working relationships on our assigned unit. You will also have the opportunity to facilitate communication among patients, visitors, and hospital employees.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Perform all delegated activities in accordance with approved policies and guidelines
- Contribute to ensuring that standards of care are met for the patient
- Perform a variety of clerical and related duties on assigned unit
- Facilitate communication among patients, visitors, nursing staff, and other health care team members

Requirements:
- Successful completion of Nursing Assistant I classes required and meets North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry requirements for listing through the Healthcare Personnel Registry
- Completion of high school or equivalent within one year of hire date
- Skill in dealing tactfully with patients, nursing staff, physicians, hospital employees, and the general public
- Knowledge of personal computers, medical terminology, lab tests, typing skills, and basic grammar
- Current BLS certification

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $34,000 - $43,500 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
