Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical Unit at Hackensack Meridian Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Manage care of patients.
  • Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
  • Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of strong Med-Surg experience required.
