Position Overview:

Steward Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine. This role involves utilizing advanced imaging technology to create detailed visuals of patients' internal organs and tissues, aiding in the accurate diagnosis of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret physician directives with precision.
  • Administer radioactive isotopes safely and effectively.
  • Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal imaging results.
  • Engage professionally with patients, healthcare staff, and management while upholding established standards of practice.
  • Contribute to performance enhancement initiatives and undertake additional imaging responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Possession of a valid Louisiana state license.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent credential (NMTCB).
  • BLS Healthcare Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
