About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Breakfast Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Valencia. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of quality and consistency in our buffet areas.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and transport all food and beverage items to and from the buffet areas, ensuring that everything is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Comply with all health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards, including those related to food handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Customer Service: Welcome guests and respond to their requests in a prompt and professional manner, referring any serious matters to management as needed.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the buffet and dining areas, and ensure that trash receptacles are emptied regularly.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Food Handlers Card required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 pounds through a crowded room throughout shift.
