The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for leading the development of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. This role requires a strong background in Python development, with experience in full-stack web development, microservices, and database management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
  • Lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
  • Work independently with end-users to gather requirements and design solutions.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in area(s) of applications development.
  • Adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis role.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
  • Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
  • Subject matter expert in at least one area of applications development.
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citi will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization for this position).

This position is based in New Castle, DE. Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area.
