Job Summary:
As a Heavy Equipment Technician at Leck Waste Services, you will perform preventive maintenance services and inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles and equipment for our company fleet. This role requires working under limited supervision and following established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks on vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs, sign in and out of work orders, and complete assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisition new parts.
• Perform all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
• Conduct thorough safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior mechanics in completing project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have two years of relevant work experience and be at least 18 years old. Legally eligible to work in the United States, physically capable of performing job requirements, and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background check. Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
