Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including the processing of prescriptions, and the management of inventory.
  • Assist with the training and development of new pharmacy technicians, and provide guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and organized pharmacy environment, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills, and good computer skills.
