Line Cook Opportunity at Silver Mountain Resort

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Silver Mountain Resort. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring a great dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces, following recipes and standards.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
• Inventory Management: Perform inventory checks and complete food storage logs to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Teamwork: Work as a team member to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:

• Communication Skills: Possess basic written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and guests.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrate organizational skills to manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Accuracy and Speed: Show accuracy and speed in executing tasks to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Teamwork and Adaptability: Be able to work as a team member and adapt to changing situations and priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: One to two years of experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook preferred.
• Cooking Skills: Familiarity with various cooking methods and procedures, and experience with industry best practices.
