Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the diagnosis and treatment of work-related or vehicular injuries.
  • Prepare patients for their return to employment following illness or injury.
  • Diagnose and manage neurological conditions in patients of all ages, particularly adults involved in motor vehicle incidents.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret MRI scans and other diagnostic tests.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
  • Prescribe medications while monitoring their effectiveness and potential side effects.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding their conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Uphold the organization's mission to deliver exceptional patient care while aligning with our ESG objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD/DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurology.
  • Unrestricted medical license to practice in Maryland.
  • Favorable malpractice history.
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • DEA license.

  • Experience in treating traumatic brain injuries and post-concussion syndrome.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with patients, colleagues, and medical staff.
  • Ability to manage patients with tact and skill.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to mentor and supervise junior staff.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Medical Knowledge – Understanding of the information and techniques necessary for diagnosing and treating human injuries, diseases, and deformities, including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties, interactions, and preventive healthcare measures.
  • Customer Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for delivering customer and personal services, including needs assessment, quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to perform tasks involving sitting, standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
