Your Role as Project Director

In the capacity of Project Director, you will operate from the construction project site, providing essential leadership as the primary liaison for the owner, design team, and project personnel. You will oversee the quality and timely execution of design-build projects, ensuring successful delivery of projects valued between $60 million and over $250 million. The Project Director will collaborate with marketing, pre-construction services, business unit leaders, and will mentor Project Managers and Engineers, holding overall accountability for project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to establish and manage a design schedule.
  • Set project forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects (valued at $100 million or more), preferably in design-build.
  • Proven knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Prior experience leading a successful project management team.
  • Physical capability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and scaling multi-floor scaffolding.
  • Able to lift objects weighing at least 50 lbs.

Compensation and Benefits
