We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse to join our team at Anabranch Recovery Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our treatment center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
  • Assist in relevant health and psychiatric teaching for patients and families.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans and nursing care.
  • Effectively communicate with the medical staff, receive verbal/written orders, and take care to minimize abbreviation or other errors.
  • Prepare, administer, control, and accurately record medications in accordance with policy.
  • Observe, document, and communicate with/reports to the R.N. in charge any clinical, physical, unit or personnel, or other issues which could alter patient care.
  • Consult, follow, and document with sufficient detail nursing care according to facility policy and procedures.
  • Safely and accurately perform vital signs, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy/labs, and diabetic/glucose monitoring.
Requirements:
  • One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.
  • Ability to apply nursing standards and practice within a recovery setting.
  • Valid current nursing license from the state or from a nurse compact state, where applicable.
  • CPR and de-escalation certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
