Board-Certified Anesthesiologist

Catholic Health Service is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage, NY.

We are looking for a skilled Anesthesiologist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to our hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

• Practice a full spectrum of in and outpatient Anesthesia, including Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Breast Surgery, Colon and Rectal, Urology, Neurosurgery, and Oncology Surgical specialties.
• Provide pre-operative anesthesia evaluations, intraoperative anesthesia management, and post-operative anesthesia assessments and pain management for patients.
• Direct and supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and assist them in effectively carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
• Participate equitably in the provision of on-call services in the Department.
• Participate in the CH Graduate Medical Education Program and other academic programs affiliated with CH, by mentoring, supervising, and teaching residents, medical students, and other healthcare students.
• Coordinate with the nursing and surgical staff to ensure the daily operating room schedule runs efficiently.

• MD/DO Full, active, and unrestricted license in NYS
• Board-Certified Physicians and Fellowship trained with 5 or more years of experience preferred
• Ability to manage CRNAs
