Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain high-quality radiographs of patients in a timely manner, utilizing portable equipment as needed.
  • Comply with radiation safety guidelines to ensure patient and self-safety.
  • Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to established protocols.
  • Perform computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, to ensure accurate charges and verified physician orders.
  • Provide professional and courteous patient care, preparing examination rooms for radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and other types of care to patients.
  • Review exams for technical accuracy, completing the verification process in PACS.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.

Education and Certification:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Continuing education credits as mandated by the ARRT for licensure.
  • ARRT (CT) certification required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required.

Requirements:

  • 40 hours per week, Sunday - Wednesday, 9 pm - 7 am.
  • NH Medical Imaging/Radiation Therapy License required.
  • NH Radiographer License required.
  • Must live greater than 50 miles from Dover, NH.
