Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently on specific assignments and collaborate with engineers on larger projects
  • Manage geotechnical and material testing projects
  • Maintain client communications and build client relationships
  • Develop solutions, make recommendations, and prepare engineering reports for review
  • Observe construction in progress and report to project engineers
  • Perform various field and laboratory tests
  • Gain experience relevant to obtaining a Professional Engineer license
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
Required Experience:
  • Prior professional consulting experience is desired
  • Proficiency in field-testing and report writing
  • 2 years of industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical or materials emphasis, or a related field
  • Master's degree in civil engineering is preferred
  • Possession of EIT certifications
