RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a BC/BE full-time Pediatrician specializing in Child Abuse to join our multidisciplinary team at Metropolitan Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Newark, New Jersey.

This opportunity offers a chance to work with experienced pediatricians in a busy practice, providing patient consultations, comprehensive medical evaluations, teaching sessions, and ongoing education and research in child maltreatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive medical evaluations and chart reviews for child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
  • In-hospital consultations and visits with the child victim.
  • Participation in ongoing education and research initiatives.
  • Teaching through didactic sessions to pediatric house staff, medical students, mental health clinicians, social workers, and law enforcement professionals.

Requirements:

  • BC/BE in Pediatrics.
  • Experience in Child Abuse and General Pediatrics.
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ.

Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
