Position Overview:
Tenet Healthcare and The Hospitals of Providence - Transmountain Campus are in search of a dedicated Family Medicine physician who has a keen interest in obstetrics to become part of a well-established practice.
Key Features:
- Engage in Family Medicine with an obstetrics component at a state-of-the-art academic institution.
- Standard working hours consist of clinic duties from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, alongside inpatient responsibilities from Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM.
- Emergency room call is required for 2-4 night shifts each month, with inpatient call responsibilities spanning 6-8 weeks annually.
- Average patient load is between 14-18 patients per clinic day.
- Academic duties include mentoring residents through both inpatient and outpatient rotations, as well as delivering didactic instruction.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 core faculty members specializing in family medicine.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Possession of an MD or DO degree.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified.
- Active Texas medical license or eligibility to secure one.
- A strong commitment to ambulatory care and education.
