Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and characterize large data sets to identify anomalous/interesting behavior.
  • Create data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Design and develop algorithms in cloud environments to support data-driven decision making.
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with analytic development within Linux environments.
  • Knowledge of DataFrames (Pandas or Spark).
  • Understanding of data science concepts and principles.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) and software deployment processes.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with PySpark and distributed computing.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science).
  • Five years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics, five years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
