As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures, handling instruments and supplies as needed.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical experience.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with prior experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Compliance with Texas House Bill #643 and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
