Job Requirements:

MSA Professionals Services is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer - Plumbing to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. As a Mechanical Project Engineer - Plumbing, you will be responsible for designing plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selections, specification, and coordination
  • Fire protection scope of work design specification and layout
  • Drawing development using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Perform code reviews
  • Shop drawing and submittal review and processing
  • Quantity take-offs and cost estimates
  • Project management and client interaction
  • Assist with mentoring junior technicians and engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 10+ years of prior commercial plumbing design experience as an engineering MEP consultant or plumbing contractor required
  • Professional Engineer license required
  • Experience with architectural projects such as schools, health care facilities, and commercial buildings required
  • Prior experience coordinating a project from start to finish with both contractors, clients, and other disciplines preferred
  • Experience with Revit required
  • Prior project management experience required
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills required for fast-paced and multi-tasking environment with the ability to coordinate this information across disciplines
