We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Ithaca City School District. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with communication disorders, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support student learning.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and implement treatment plans
- Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and treatment plans
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- New York State certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with students with communication disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals
