Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and clerical support to patients and healthcare teams

  • Collect co-pays and process patient charges
  • Update patient records and maintain accurate and up-to-date information
  • Perform various clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens
  • Work with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience as a medical assistant or in a related healthcare role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
Working Conditions

This role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. The ability to lift, carry, and push/pull objects up to 25 pounds is also required. The work environment is fast-paced and may be stressful at times.
