PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts quality assurance, control, and maintenance protocols for MRI systems.
Ensures the safety and well-being of patients, families, and staff within the MRI setting.
Accountable for MRI quality metrics in alignment with the Joint Commission and other regulatory entities.
Oversees metrics and quality outcomes in accordance with the American College of Radiology MRI accreditation standards.

Possesses multicredentialed status to operate in an outpatient imaging facility, providing essential support to operations. Candidates must hold ARRT registration in both MRI and Radiography.

Individual will also assist the x-ray department as required. Skills in phlebotomy and EKG are advantageous.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • ARRT (MR,R) certification is mandatory
  • Connecticut State License is essential
  • Experience in venipuncture and IV placement
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • CPR certification is required
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills are a plus
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of MRI experience is necessary
