Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories and current conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patients' needs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assess patient concerns and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective care
- Communicate with patients and families to provide updates and support
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of medical procedures
- Provide administrative support to clinical staff as needed
- Education and Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current state license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Visual and hearing acuity required
- Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens
- Use of universal precautions and protective equipment required
- Awareness of potential exposure to patient body fluids and disinfectant chemicals
