Patient Services Coordinator

Overview:
Acts as the primary liaison for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome at the Family Health Center.
Facilitates the smooth operation of the center by coordinating appointments, managing the cash register, processing charges, and verifying the accuracy of patient information using the hospital's computer system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the financial transactions of client accounts.
2. Execute posting operations for institutional clients and scrutinize all billing activities related to the accounts receivable system.
3. Address client inquiries and resolve complaints regarding institutional billing transactions.
4. Conduct order entry, patient registration, and various clerical tasks.
5. Train clerical staff on proper registration procedures and the generation of patient reports.
6. Perform additional clerical tasks as required, which may include insurance verification, statistical recording, patient registration, and updating patient accounts.
7. Assist in scheduling patient appointments, managing phone inquiries, and informing patients about their benefits.
8. Complete other assigned duties as necessary.
