As an Industrial Machine Builder, you will be responsible for building industrial machinery from sub-assemblies to final products.
Job Responsibilities- Position machine bases and stages sub-assemblies for final assembly according to blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate machine base placement with other department space requirements and scheduling.
You will work closely with engineers to resolve problems encountered during build and troubleshoot newly assembled equipment.
- Assist in customer run-offs with assembly expertise.
- Disassemble equipment and load it onto trucks for shipping.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 10 years of related experience in manufacturing and/or training.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial machine/part building, blueprint reading, and precise measuring abilities.
- PREFERRED SKILLS: Welding experience and machine maintenance and repair experience.
- Competitive salary ($65,000-$85,000 per year) based on experience.
