Private Client Services Tax Manager

Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Private Client Services team in Fort Lauderdale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and other tax-related documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare income tax projections, tax workpapers, and tax returns for individuals and fiduciaries, including federal and state returns.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on individual and fiduciary income tax, with experience in partnerships and S-corporations.
  • Develop and implement effective tax planning and compliance strategies for clients.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day needs of clients and tax return process, including identification and resolution of tax issues.
  • Perform tax research to resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure timely and effective communication for project planning.
  • Coach and mentor staff to develop and grow the tax practice.
  • Stay up-to-date on new tax issues and general business trends affecting clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, Master's in Taxation preferred, CPA required.
  • 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client engagements.
  • Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and high-quality client service.
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in CCH Axcess, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH Intelliconnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM, and Microsoft Office.
