Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Custom Picture Framer to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a Custom Picture Framer, you will be responsible for creating memorable framing solutions for our customers while building strong relationships with them.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and help customers find the perfect framing solution for their art.
  • Build and maintain a safe, clean, and clutter-free store environment.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Deliver sales and production results, complete framing orders with high quality and on time, and maintain the ready-made frame department.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, and promote commitment to the organization's vision and values.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Physical ability to move throughout the store, stand for long periods, and lift heavy boxes and frames.

Work Environment: Our store is a public retail setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work. You will be working with glass cutter and heat press equipment.
