About the Role:
Kubicki Draper is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in West Palm Beach. As a civil litigation attorney, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and responding to substantive pleadings, motions, and discovery in cases involving catastrophic injury and bad faith claims.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery in complex civil litigation cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations to advocate for clients' interests.
- Participate in meetings with clients to discuss case progress and negotiate settlements.
- Prepare for and attend trials to present cases to judges and juries.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure seamless case management.
- Adapt to and work efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in civil litigation, particularly in insurance defense, personal injury, and bad faith claims, is preferred but not required.
- Strong skills in legal research, writing, and persuasive oral advocacy.
- Licensed member of the Florida Bar and in good standing, required.
- Stellar academic credentials.
